ACROSS CULTURESFILM FESTIVAL
A one-day celebration of short films, human stories and the cultures that connect us.
Across Cultures Film Festival is a one-day cultural film event in Bamberg dedicated to short films exploring identity, migration, belonging and the shared human experience across cultures.
Cinema gives us a rare chance to step into another person's world. ACFF brings audiences, filmmakers, students and the community together through films that open conversations and create connection.
Stories of who we are, where we come from and how we see one another.
Cinema that explores home, movement, memory and finding a place in the world.
A shared space for dialogue, empathy and meeting across cultural boundaries.
The final programme is being curated by our jury. Selected films will be presented here as soon as the 2026 lineup is confirmed.

The festival is hosted and supported by Dr. Selma Graf Schule in Bamberg — a school community shaped by people from different cultural backgrounds who learn together around a shared humanitarian purpose.
That spirit makes the school a natural home for a festival built around diversity, empathy and human connection through cinema.
